The Friesian Spectacular Performances
Friesians Spectacular
The title show is a unique and unforgettable entertainment performance by Clay Maier and two beautiful, highly trained Friesian horses. Clay rides one horse while driving another on long reins. While that alone is challenging, Clay begins his exhibition by performing dressage maneuvers with both horses.

The excitement gradually increases until the horses are circling the arena at full speed, weaving through obstacles and negotiating jumps. This intense performance is choreographed to powerful music and is dramatized by handsome wardrobe and tack. Clay's dramatic and difficult Friesians Spectacular performance often receives standing ovations and expert horsemen are as impressed as folks whose only horse experience is perhaps petting a furry face.

Counterpoint
Rider Lea McFarland-Bushnell joins rider Clay Maier in a fascinating equestrian pas de deux 'dance.' This unusual performance by a masculine and a feminine rider reflects the romantic elements of attraction, avoidance and competition. During the performance the costumed riders ask their horses to execute a wide variety of movements and end with the horses sitting down.

Chariots of Fire
Clay rides one horse while driving a pair of gorgeous matched Friesians to music at a bold trot. This is a 3 to 4 minute routine that emphasizes the inherent beauty and grace of the Friesian horse. It's both poetry and power in motion.
